Kosovo police say an explosive device thrown by an ethnic Albanian man in the western town of Djakovica has injured three people. Another device did not explode.Police say the attacker has been arrested. NATO peacekeepers disposed of the second device Thursday. The motive for the attack was unclear but police say the man has mental problems.
Tensions are running high following protests by Kosovo voters contesting last week's elections for mayors and local councils. Djakovica is run by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, but a mayoral candidate has accused the governing party of election fraud. Election authorities are investigating the claim.
